Jira Align - Sprint Metrics - Stories committed vs. accepted percentages change weeks later

What would make the "stories committed vs. accepted" percentages portion of the sprint metrics report change weeks and sometimes months later?

I've seen this with multiple teams and multiple sprints now.  The percentages change on later runs of the report.  I've checked to ensure the teams are closing their sprints in a timely manner and they are.  We are using this data to help drive behavioral changes in teams.  This is hard to do when the data changes.  Any insight is appreciated.
