In Jira Align Ideation Module, I created a custom ideation form to which I added a few custom fields. They are of type Text field. Now that I think about it, they should've been of field type Open Text instead. But... I don't know how to change it because, the Field Type dropdown has disappeared now (I just see "Text field" in an un-editable text). Any help, please? Thank you!
Hi Som, you will need to delete the field and recreate it with the correct type, as it's not possible to change a saved type. After adding a new one, make sure to click in the '+' sign before saving.
@Enio Marques Junior Thank you for the response. That helped! I actually deleted the and recreated the form with new fields and correct data types, because I had to do that for all fields anyways.
It would be good to have the ability to change after creating, though :-).
Thank you!!
