Export work items from kanban boards

 How do I export work items (stories, features) from custom kanban boards in Jira Align?

@Reddy Jira Align does not allow a direct export from the Kanban Board.  You can export the data from the backlog view.  You can set up filters in that view to limit the data you want to export.

What are you trying to accomplish?  Both the stories and features are available from Jira as well with the 2 way synching through the connector.  

For example, if you export the feature and you have a custom process step, that data would be available in the export.  

Can you provide more details on the why and the ask?  What are you trying to accomplish?

We are trying to mirror the Jira Align kanban board within another tool and we are looking for options on how to export the work items from the JA kanban board in one shot instead of manually creating the features and stories within the new tool. The new tool doesn't have integration with Jira Align.

@Reddy Thanks for the additional information.  You may want to look at the Jira Align API to accomplish what you are trying to do.  You can use the API to export the data and then load it into the other tool with their API, if they have one.  Do you mind sharing what tool you are trying to get JA data into for visibility?
