Is there a means by which to differentiate between Saved and Submitted Time Tracking entries in the 'timeline bar' on right right hand side of the time tracking screen?
For example, I work a 40 hour week, and am able sometimes to predict my work pattern. I can go into Jira Align, fill out my time, and Save it. Other weeks, I can't, and have to fill and submit all in one go.
When my manager approves my time, the box in the timeline bar is Green.
However, there is no visual indicator to say that I've Submitted my timesheet and it's pending approval from management - the timeline bar will simply remain white, and if I have Saved but not Submitted my time, this becomes a forget-point, leading to my manager needing to chase my timesheets up.
Is there something my business has failed to configure?
Hi @Marc Hutley,
Time tracking is actually one of the few bits of functionality in Jira Align I haven't used.
However, I did find this article, 10X: View Submitted Timesheets, that seems to answer your question.
Regards,
Peter
