Forecast Tab at Program - Feature Level.pngHi everyone,

Has there been any updates from Atlassian's side in Jira Align. I am the admin in my org and was able to see the Forecast tab at Program > Feature level to view the MW estimates of my org's features.

That Feature tab usually appears in the following sequence: Details - Design - Spend - Forecast - Links (screen attached for ref.)

Strangely, I'm not able to see them today. Same for anyone else in my org. No one is able to view Forecast tab.

It was working perfectly two days ago.

Is it a wider issue or am I doing something wrong? I have attached a screenshot of the interface to ref. my question.

Could someone please help? Thanks!

Haarris

@Muhammad Haarris Ahmed @Greg Stern Thank you for posting this and reporting the issue to support. A fix for this issue was deployed last night. Please reach out to support if you are still experiencing an issue

One thing to remember- The Forecast tab is available if

  • Your user role has the Admin > Roles > Program > Manage > Features > Forecast Tab permission toggle switched on.
  • A feature must have a program increment associated with it for the Forecast tab to display

@Muhammad Haarris Ahmed  @Greg Stern There have been some support tickets opened this morning around this-  It appears to be a widespread issue.

I can provide a work around while this is being resolved:

  • Navigate to the Forecast screen (let nav under program)
  • Select the feature in question
  • The Feature slide-out will open and land on the Forecast tab.

i will try and update this as i learn more about the issue.

@Muhammad Haarris Ahmed visibility for the forecast tab at a feature level is behind a role based toggle.

An admin can resolve this by navigating to Admin, Roles, Select the role(s) in question, then under Program, Manage, Features you will see a toggle for forecast tab.

If the toggle is enabled there for your role and you are still not seeing it, i would recommend opening a Support Ticket.

You can see the release calendar here.  Dates depend on whether you are on continuous, bundled or on-premise tracks

The most recent release notes for 11.3.X are here.

The first thing I'd check, though, is whether your role has been modified in any way to remove the visibility forecast tab (Settings > Roles).  You generally show/hide tabs from here

We are also seeing the same issue. Possible that a bug got introduced?

In that case, I suggest raising a support ticket
