Using a Jira post-function to populate Resolution Date to sync with Jira Align Accepted Date

For those in the Community that are using Jira Align:

  1. Is your Jira Align configured to sync the Accepted Date with the Jira Resolution Date and have you set up a post-function to populate the Resolution in Jira for the transition to the Done status?
  2. Have you also created a post-function to clear the Resolution when the status is transition from Done to another status in Jira?
  3. Anyone configure Accepted Date with a custom Date Picker field as detailed in this community article

Majority of my clients have configured the post-function to clear / set Jira Resolution Date. I do have one client that preferred to sync the Acceptance Date with the custom Date Picker as your community article described.  They found that article very easy to follow and useful.

Hi @Sam Tsubota , we had configured the setup very similiar to the mentioned article using an acceptance date. The article was helpful, we also added clear post-functions from "done" to other states. We introduced the change as an improvement to an existing configuration and wanted also to migrate older tickets. This step might be necessary at other customers as well. "Migration" means: the accepted data needs to be set for already done issues. For this we introduced a (temporary) workflow transitions that copies the resolution date to the acceptance date. Having this workflow transition we could bulk change a lot of tickets.
