Hi there

I am looking to design an HR service desk using our Jira product. I see that there are templates provided by Atlassian but does any one have a requirements document or a templates/blueprint on how their HR service desk is designed so I'm not reinventing the wheel?

Thanks

Hi. I don't have a template/blueprint as not one HR is exactly the same. Just some notes.

The out of the box HR Service desk is a good start, and as you will see there are other types of projects to link to the HR Service Desk as well.

Talk to the team themselves to see how they work and what they think would benefit them and take it from there.

HI @Stefan Larsen

Welcome to the community!

I think you should create a Jira Service Management project with the HR template to get going. It is shipped with 7 common request types and it will serve as a good start.

Of course you can add and remove request types, fields and also tailor the workflows to your needs. As @Natasja Eloff  points out; no HR is the same and wants exactly the same tooling support.

I just wrote an article in which I explore this template and where I make some improvements to the offboarding request through utilising the Asset functionality + using the importer apps to sync data from the Azure AD to use centrally stored employee information.

Lisa
