At the moment, when creating a new project, it creates a svn repo. I would like to use git by default.
Is it possible to host it on bitbucket, in a team?
I tried playing around in the admin panel.
It is listed as a DVCS Repository linked to the correct bitbucket account; it still displays Subversion Repository: None and in the SOURCE tab, there is only the inital commit in the svn repo that was created when I created the project.
Basically, I want to replace that with the bitbucket git repo.

You can use the DVCS connector included with OnDemand to connect to your Bitbucket (Git or Mercurial) repositories. We are working on better and tighter integration between Bitbucket and OnDemand to enable you to do even more other than showing relevant commits linked to issues (which can be done now).
