Why does Crucible treat plain text attachment file as binary?

Jeff George March 21, 2013

I've created a review and attached a plain text file with the extension .sql. Crucible is treating it as binary instead of plain text. Is there anything I can do to indicate to crucible that it's plain text?

Hi Jeff,

Can you please open your <FishEye Home Directory>/raw-mime.types and check if 'sql' extension is listed next to 'text/plain' mime type?

This may be also happening due to file enconding. Could you please make sure it's UTF-8?

Also, I'm not sure which version of FishEye/Crucible you're using, but you may be facing this bug:

You are hitting https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CRUC-6736. If you upgrade to 3.4 then the raw-mime.typesfile will be used.

Hi, I work with Jeff,

1. We're on v2.10

2. I checked raw-mine.types and sql is in text/plan line.
