How can i reduce the size of fecru's /cache and /var/cache directories?

Crucible/Fisheye seems to be growing and I think it will never stop. I need to find ways to keep the size used on disk down.
I notice thar $FECRU_HOME/cache and $FECRU_HOME/var/cache are quite large.
  1. what is in each of these dirs?
  2. will starting svn revsion scanning at a higher revion help?
  3. will excluding tags and branches help?

Any thoughts on how to reduce the size of these 2 dirs would be appreciated.

Hi Trevor,

  1. What is in each of these dirs?
The $FECRU_HOME/var/cache directory contains repositories caches.
The $FECRU_HOME/cache directory plugin caches and other FishEye / Crucible caches.

  2. Will starting svn revision scanning at a higher revision help?
Yes, this is the first suggestion mentioned in this Knowledge Base article.

  3. Will excluding tags and branches help?
Yes, this is the second suggestion mentioned in that same Knowledge Base article.

Cheers,
Felipe Kraemer
