Error while processing SVN command: socket write error PROPFIND request failed on my repositorxy

Hi guys,

when performing a merge of a branch the trunk in one of our projects our SVN client (SmartSVN) brings the following error after processing nearly the complete merge of 155 MB files of our project:

"An error eccurrd while processind an SVN command: Software caused connection abort: socket write error PROPFIND request faile on /svn/XXX/tunk"

Any ideas?

Best
Christian

Roughly how long does the merge run for before being terminated? If it's ~15 minutes then you could be running into a limitation on our platform.

You can submit a support request referencing this Answers post to have us run the equivalent merge locally on your instance, bypassing mod_dav_svn.

Yes, error occurs after approx. 1 hour because we have a large project merge with more than 150 mb... will contect the support and ask for a manual merge... thanks a lot!

Do you still have this issue?

Unfortunately the error still exists...
