Is there any feature in Crucible available that can automatically commit after a review has been approved? For example, if we use a development branch with a post-commit review, can the branch be automatically merged back into the trunk?

Crucible itself cannot do this (its access to code repositories is read-only), you'll need an external tool.

This is something also I would like for fisheye/crucible!

Same functionality as using jira+bitbucket - developers work on their feature branches and after review (approved) they will be merged into trunk.
