Crucible Permissions

JasonP June 17, 2012

Hi,

Currently we have some crucible admins that have the privileges to create a repository to point to say a github repository. Is there a way we can give all our uses just privs to create this repo and also change where it is pointed to in case the repository is renamed or moved in github? We want to make this as self service as possible to avoid having these simple tasks be an interupt and let the user handle these actions. I would like this to be the only admin priv they have so they they can't do any other admin type actions.

Thanks,

Jay

Hi Jay,

We do not have this kind of fine grain permission in Crucible. We do have a JIRA issue that you can track that relates to that story: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/FE-2486

We have this problem in mind and we want to facilitate the administratio of Crucible.

Cheers,

Is there a way to to create ane edit a repo from the api? Meaning could we write something to hit the api that does this so we don't have to give access to the rest of the system?
