How to bump up a question

Don Mankewich October 10, 2017

I replied to an old Confluence question because I'm having the same issue and the original question was not resolved. I thought this would bump the question back up to the top of the 'recent' list. I can find the original question and my reply is there but it's nowhere to be found in 'recent'. How do I bump up the question? Do I have to ask it again? If so, can I link it to the original question?

Thanks,

Hi Don,

a new reply will not put an older question to the top of the list. The list is ordered by the date when the question was asked. Your reply will trigger notifications, if someone is watching the question or the channel.

So, it might be better to ask a new question. You can link to the old question simply by adding its url to your new question.
