In the "Preferences" section, there is no way to auto-subscribe to my own questions. I would always like to be notified by e-mail when answers are posted to my own questions, so I would like to be able to have them auto-subscribed.

Hi Max,
It's a default setting, in fact it's not a configurable preference. You are automatically subscribed by default. You can unsubscribe when viewing the question.
