I can use the obvious link for a specific question. Has anyone found out a way to get a link to a specific answer to a question?

I expected that the date of the answer would be a link as it is in Confluence, JIRA and other systems.

The reason this is a discussion is that if there is no such way to get a link, I'd like to discuss why this missing feature is such a useful thing in community tools.

I'll check into this. I agree having direct links to the answers would be helpful. This would make notifications of new responses more useful too, as the notification link could go directly to the new content.

Based on what I have seen in email notifications, you can link to a specific answer/comment in a thread by putting #{MessageID/Name} at the end of the link.

For example, this link with #M14 at the end points to Nic's comment on the known issues article:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Feedback-Forum-articles/Atlassian-Community-known-issues-and-changes/ba-p/458302#M14

It also seems to work with #U461052 at the end:

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Feedback-Forum-articles/Atlassian-Community-known-issues-and-changes/ba-p/458302#U461052

It's a pain to find these names/ids, though.

You can see them by inspecting the page source:

Really need a more user-friendly way of doing this!

That's good to know. Having the link visible in each response would be exactly what is wanted!
