Upcoming Enterprise Releases for Confluence and Bitbucket

G’day Enterprise community!

Today we’ve announced two Enterprise releases that will be coming in early 2020: Confluence 7.4 and Bitbucket 6.10. We recognize that many of you plan your upgrades around annual cycles, and we’re hoping that sharing timing on these two releases now will help you plan for the upcoming year.

Confluence 7.4

Confluence 7.4 is targeting Q2 2020 (calendar year) and will be the first Enterprise release on the Confluence 7.0 platform. This means all of the features and performance improvements included in that platform update, as well as those released in 7.1-7.3, will be available in a hardened package that will be certified for enterprise on day 1. Read more and discuss.

Bitbucket 6.10

The release of Bitbucket 6.10, targeted for late January 2020, marks the first official Enterprise release for Bitbucket. 6.10 is planned to be one of the final releases in the 6.x series, and while we still recommend upgrading Bitbucket as frequently as your organization will allow, Enterprise releases offer a designated long-term support (LTS) option for customers who prefer to upgrade annually. Read more and discuss.

Reminder: Jira Software 8.5 and Jira Service Desk 4.5

The most recent Enterprise releases for Jira Software and Jira Service Desk were released in October 2019.
