Happy New Year, Atlassian Community!
In 2020 we all had to learn how to connect, share, and learn in an entirely different way.
After a year of so much bad, we deserve to celebrate some good! These awards are meant to highlight just a few of the members who went above and beyond this year despite the tribulations they surely faced. For those not mentioned in this post - we are grateful for you and look forward to recognizing you sometime soon.
Before we dive into the individual award categories for 2020, I want to congratulate our overall top contributors. We notice and appreciate the time and care you put into helping fellow community members and are astounded and humbled by your dedication:

Special mention to @Deepanshu Natani for bringing together ACE cities and co-hosting events with them and also sharing great write-ups online. @Ollie Guan_携程 has been consistently crushing it online as well as supporting with Shanghai events.
A couple fun quotes about some Community superstars from Atlassian team members:
@FUN MAN ANDY “A beacon of silliness and helpfulness. FMA makes Community fun while genuinely adding value for his fellow members.”
@Matt Doar__ LinkedIn “Leads by example and keeps a positive attitude - consistently engages and helps fellow Community members. All around role model.”
@Alex Janes “Truly a saint. Works hard to help peers and gracefully de-escalates conflict.”
@Bill Sheboy “Bill has really stepped up in a big way as of late. He has great input and follows up consistently. For example, check out this thread.”
@Joerg Mueller-Kindt and @Hubert Kut “Not only these Berlin ACE Leaders did they host 55 events last year, but they also tried out several different event formats and virtual platforms (for example wonder.me, hopin.to) to help engage their members in new, fun ways."
Thank you to Community members on and off this list! We appreciate you all very much. Please join me in this content celebration by adding your favorite happy gif in the comments below.
