Community Leaders are the top influencers in the Atlassian Community — they are knowledgeable about our products, and eager to share their expertise and enthusiasm and connect with others. They are personally invested in the health of the community and have a desire to help shape its future.
All Community Leaders have a badge that identifies them as such.
Folks in the program exhibit the following characteristics:
Current Leaders can nominate highly qualified candidates. Outside of that, we track a monthly activity report based on points accumulated for answering questions, having answers marked as accepted and writing articles.
Those who earn 30 points or more and pass an internal review may be invited via email to join the program. During the review, we look at a candidate's posts and assess things like tone, technical accuracy, level of detail provided (product screenshots are great!) and more. Check out our current list of best practices.
Once invited into the program, we ask that our online Leaders maintain 50 points per quarter moving forward. We’re still working to give members access to the number of points they’re accruing in real time, but rest assured you’ll hear from us if you’re on track for a Champion invite as well.
