Progressive delivery with Jira Software, CircleCI, and LaunchDarkly

Progressive delivery is an iterative process that decouples the deployment of software changes from the release of those changes to customers. Software deployments are typically managed with CI/CD tools such as Bitbucket pipelines, or CircleCI. Software release is typically managed with feature flagging tools such as LaunchDarkly or Split. Software deployment can be a slow process, and recovering from a bad deployment can leave customers in a bad spot while a fix is being worked on. Decoupling software deployment from software release can simplify the software deployment process and make recovering from bad deployments much faster, and easier.
