Hi Folks,
I would like to setup a proxy hostname for our crowd instance. for eg. the present url is like this:
I would like to change it to
http://xyz.companyname.com/crowd
Could anyone please provide me the necessary changes required for this? Further, what changes are required to change the context of the url for crowd?
Thanks and Regards,
Jenin Mohan
I setup it through server.xml file.

Hi Jenin, there are some options to achieve this, it can be done with different proxies. The following docs can be used as guide line (the last two mention JIRA, but the procedure is the same for Crowd):
The only additional configuration you may need to pay attention is the trusted proxies list, you may need to include the IPs of your proxies in this list.
I hope it helps.
Cheers
