Hi,
I'm looking for a possible solution to integrate a Typo3 frontend with Atlassian products. The idea is, that Users login into Typo3 and go from there to Jira or Confluence without logging in again.
So far, I think there are two solutions:
1) Authenticating against CrowdID: Users would login in Typo3 after authenticating against CrowdID. But I'm not sure, that this provides SSO experience. According to an older question, no
2) Implementing login hook in Typo3 to retrieve cookie via REST API
Has anybody implemented this setup or a similar solution with another CMS? I'm curious about what's the typical way of implementing kind of a portal with SSO.
Thanks in advance!
Hi Klaus,
Have you got any idP (Identity Provider) such as ADFS, Azure AD, Okta, Google Apps/GSuite, OneLogin... configured?
If so, the easier approach is to install miniOrange SSO complement in both Type3 and Atlassian applications, see:
- Single Sign On (SSO) for TYPO3
- miniOrange | Atlassian Marketplace
Hope this helps
Regards
