We run Confluence 3.4.1 and Jira 4.2.1 with Crowd 2.0.7.
We want to upgrade Crowd to latest, 2.5.1.
* Is Crowd backward compatible? I.e. will our current Jira and Confluence work fine with Crowd 2.5.1?
* Do I have to upgrade crowd client jar files in our old confluence & jira?
(I've started uppgrading Bamboo and Fisheye. They requiere a upgrade of Crowd - hence this situation. I'm not in a position to upgrade Jira and Confluence now.)
Check for compatibility

Make sure you perform the upgrade in a development environment first
Thanks. New Crowd seems to support old Confluence & Jira.
But - will a upgraded crowd requiere me to upgrade crowd-client-jar at our "old" confluence & jira?
