Good morning,
Lately, my users have been experiencing frequent issues saving edits or creating pages. The log shows the following:
2019-10-22 16:05:30,069 ERROR [http-nio-8080-exec-1] [core.persistence.hibernate.HibernateObjectDao] reIndex Unable to reIndex object: page: 2019-10-22 (page name) (52658422) -- Failed to add entry to queue
-- referer: https://(site) url: (site) | traceId: 315213d9e62d0466 | userName: user
com.atlassian.confluence.api.service.exceptions.ServiceException: Failed to add entry to queue
Before I do a reindex, has anyone else encountered this issue and found a solution?
Hello Tom,
First of all, welcome to the Atlassian Community. It is good to have you hear! :)
I found a similar question solved by an Atlassian Team's member here: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/quot-Failed-to-add-entry-to-queue-quot-on-adding-a-label-to-a/qaq-p/837631
In fact, she advised to follow an article that talked about solving the problem by rebuilding content incides from Scratch, and delete the <confluence-home>/journal/main_index
file then restart Confluence.
I hope this will help.
Have a nice day!
Boris

As an update to this issue, Atlassian looked at the server and confirmed that a reindex was required and furthermore, that the server needed additional mysql connections.
