I have a confluence page where the user inputs the data a licence is due to expire. I'd like to have a macro that takes this date, knocks off 5 days and then puts that date into a task so I get a reminder before the license expires to do something about it.

I can get the date, I can take 5 days off fine and I can get this date displayed in a task next to my username. What I can't do is get the date to display in as the confluence date picker so the tasks pick up the due date.

Any Ideas?

Hi Ian,

You can use Handy Reminders from Handy Macros for that. Also, you'll get an interactivity for your dates and other features. It's not free, but pretty convenient way to deal with the case described.
