Hello,

I have tables with long words like "Notlichtbetriebsgerät" which bloat the table column. To avoid this I would like to define certain points where these long words are allowed to break. I thought I could use &shy, <wbr> or &#8203 for this.

But how does that work in confluence? How can I enter such code? Or is there another way to get some sort of optional word break?

Hello Steffen,

My first idea was to use the confluence source editor to add that html directly to the page.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.atlassian.confluence.plugins.editor.confluence-source-editor

On adding these tags It looks like they are actually stripped out of the editor on page save.

I have created the following bug on your behalf.
