This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Working with Links

I am trying to setup confluence documentation links. I am using Chrome, but would like the link to open a specific website in a different browser(Fire Fox). Is there a way to setup a link to do this? Open url link in a different browser type than what you are currently viewing with?

I don't thinks this is possible and this is not a restriction of Confluence but for any HTML link. You can only create a link that opens new tab or browser window, but within the same browser.

I think the question might really be how to open in a new tab/window, so as not to lose the current page. Is there a way to do that? I can't find one.
