Hi Parthiban,

To import a space, navigate to the “cog” icon > General Configuration > Backup and Restore.

Since your file is too large to upload, instead of using the “Upload and Restore” option, the recommended way would be to use the "restore from the Confluence Home directory” option. Drop your exported XML file into <confluence-home>/restore directory, and import it from there. The former method has chances of your browser timing out before the import could complete.

Also, due to the file size, the import process could be memory intensive. You may need to temporarily increase the memory available for your Confluence instance if you face out-of-memory errors or if the import keeps timing out. You can refer this article for increasing memory – How to fix out-of-memory errors by increasing available memory

Let us know if you have any questions!

Thanks,

Neha

Hi,

How did this go? Did you export your 23 GB file via UI backup and restore -> back up options? Does that include attachments?
