how to give edit permission to a specific group for a single page

I need to give certain group Edit permission a single page while keeping View permission to to other pages under Space.

You want to use page restrictions - check out how these work here:

For clarity, as edit restrictions are not inherited down a page tree, you'll need to:

  • Set each single page to view only...
  • Except the one page you want to provide edit access to

Hi @Kathy Guo ,

welcome to the Atlassian community!

You need to provide specific edit restrictions for all other pages. Keep in mind that page restricition works from the page and for all nested subpages.

I know that it's not a simple way specially if you have a lot of groups/users accessing to your space. My Suggestion is to create two roots, one for all the other pages with restriction for edit for all groups you need and another root containing all pages editable for your specific group.

It should be more simple.
