filter status based on task status macro

This question is in reference to Atlassian Documentation: Status Macro

How can I sort or filter a task report list (task macro) based on the field Status (status marco)?

Yes... this would be very helpful. Either this, or a way to "tag" tasks and sort by tags. Is there anything like this?

Can we see a screenshot of how you're using your Task Report list? Perhaps you could edit that into your question.
