displaying ldap query result on a Confluence page

Andre van der Elst April 9, 2013

Hi all,

I'm would like to display results from a ldap query on a wiki page, stuff like firstname, lastname, telephone, mobile etc.

What would be the most elegant way to accomplish this ?

I'm using Confluence 5.1 download version.

Any tips are welcome!

Hi Andre,

In order to retrieve those information such as Telephone, mobile and other external data it is necessary to use a third party plugin such as User Profile Plugin. The mentioned plugin will be able to retrieve additional data from your LDAP server where Confluence unable to do.

However I'm not sure if you could display the data on your page, this screenshot seems to indicate that there is a method to do it:

Hope it helps.
