confluence video plugin question

Dear,

After upload mp4 video with multimedia macro, it can not play by firefox 38.7 verson below. Although I have install quicktime software, but it still not work. Kindly give suggestion about the condition. thanks a lot.

Are you able to play the video directly in the browsers? For instance if you download it to your machine and drag it to a browser tab does it start to play? If not then you are probably missing a codec to play that file as it was encoded.

Thanks a lot. Is there video server suggestion with confluence ? I mean user login confluence , and they can upload video to video and combine with widget macro?And video server can be used in intranet environment?

I've looked at a couple before, but never tried to fully pull the trigger on it. Below are a couple open source packages that could give you your own streaming server platform which would then give you the ability to embed the videos via iframe.
