confluence downloads 5.7MB frontend.editor.v4 file when I view the page.

kokdemir August 16, 2022

Why is that downloads a file named editor and sized this much when the user view a page? Is this a bug or stupid configuration mistake? It makes it hard to use confluence.

batch.js?frontend.editor.v4=true&gatekeeper-ui-v2=true&highlightactions=true&hostenabled=true&locale=en-US&scm-display-getting-started=true&user-logged-in=true

Hi @kokdemir

from what I remember there is quite a complexity that results in larger data to be transferred. It might be affected by several Apps, the amount of data then is higher - it's basically the same for Jira where the batch.js also grows with a number of Apps.

I don't think that can be adjusted directly.

Daniel
