All,
I am unable to get the attributes for pendingusers and approvalassignees to appear. I have the following trigger:
{trigger:taskexpired|task=Review Emailing Period|state=First-Level Review}
{send-email:user=@pendingusers@|subject=[Document Workflow] Email for Technical Review}
Your approval for @page@ is pending.
{send-email}
{set-message:style=warning|duration=PT1M}
@task@ has expired
{set-message}
{complete-task:task=Review Emailing Period}
{set-state:First-Level Review}
{trigger}
I know the trigger is firing because the message appears, but the email is never sent, and any references to the attributes shows blank,
Is there some error in the syntax or some trick to get these attributes to work?

Yes, I would. But we are off maintenance, blocked from renewing because we cannot move to Data Center because of another plugin that went EOL and is not supported on Data Center. So until we can engineer a replacement for that plugin, we cannot upgrade and renew. Basically blocked on all sides. ;-)
