Hi,
we have a space where a deleted user was the administrator.
Unfortunately we can't change the permissions.
Is it possible to change the administrator of the space with a global admin?
Thank you all!
Hello @Clarissa Schelp ,
Yes, Confluence Administrator can change Space Administrator permission from X user to Y user or he can add as many users as possible to space Admin permission.
For more details, please follow Assign space permissions.
Hope this helps!
Regards,
Mayur

Regards,
Clarissa

if there is no other admin of this space available, only a user of the confluence-administrators group can edit the permissions in the space permissions page of confluence or dorectly via the space's tools.
Cheers!

so what u say is the list of space admins in Spate Tools/Overview tab/Administrator field cannot be changed/updated ? And the only possibility is to play with space permissions groups and users in the other Permissions tab ?

Hi @dan papuc
no, I am not saying that. I meant to say that only the Confluence Admin can assign new people to be the space admin.
Cheers!
