can i upload a word or pdf document in my knowledge base

Hi, 

I am trying to upload all my user manuals to my knowledge base, when i try upload my screen shots/ images do not upload

please assist

I assume you have the "Add Attachments" permission already - as it is needed.

Did you try with several browsers for a test?
Is this happening for all users?

If this problem still persists could you probably also upload a screenshot where the exact step is good to see?
