After a Server restart, the Confluence service no longer starts automatically. The service had to be started manually via the cmd. The service always started automatically up to now.
Can you Explain us why the Service didn't start automatically or how we can fix this problem.
Hi Adriano,
here is a guide to start Confluence as a service using linux:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/run-confluence-as-a-systemd-service-on-linux-937177781.html
When you said it started previously but now I does not (anymore) - there must have been something changed that lead to this, or?
A server restart should normally not change the way how services are started.
In case the guide linked above does not help you might to dig deeper on a linux system level what is wrong with the service's configuration - in case you did this never before make sure you have something around who can debug this.
Cheers,
Daniel
Thank you for your response. Your solution works perfectly.
Has thus been clarified.
Many Thanks

If Confluence is not set as a Windows service it will not start automatically. You can check by opening windows services. If you do not see it in the list for Atlassian Confluence you can add it. The below link shows you how to do it.
