Xhtml Image Rendering Error?

Jean-Claude Chauveau April 1, 2020

Hi,

Hopefully this is a simple thing to resolve. We created a page within Confluence with some images and are now getting the following Xhtml errors:

From the Chrome browser, i copied the html tag that displays the image exception:

<img src="/plugins/servlet/confluence/placeholder/error?i18nKey=editor.placeholder.broken.image&locale=en_US&version=2" title="com.atlassian.confluence.content.render.xhtml.XhtmlException: Missing required attribute: {http://atlassian.com/resource/identifier}value

Any thoughts what may be causing this?

Thanks,

Jean-Claude

Hi @Jean-Claude Chauveau

Looks like this is a known issue. The best will be to attach the images into the Confluence Page rather than copying and pasting images. When you copy, sometimes it may not render properly.

Here are details on an existing post: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/After-pasting-an-image-get-quot-broken-image-quot/qaq-p/910253
