Why is the roadmap planner not letting me click insert after I make a change?

When I make a change to the roadmap planner, it doesn't always let me publish, or click 'insert'? It's infuriating!!

Why won't it let me make the changes I want to? I have tried using incognito, I've tried creating a roadmap from scratch on a blank new page - what is going on?
