Anytime I make changes to the 'All Content' or space settings as it relates to content, my content vanishes from the parent/child page list on the left menu. I need this section to display my content all the time.
Why does this happen?
How do I fix it?
It seems the only way to fix it is to just click on random stuff in the space settings and it somehow magically appears again.
Edit: This only happens after setting the homepage as required by the system. After setting the homepage, it cannot be removed from the setting.
After setting the homepage - I have to go to space settings - hidden content - then I have to edit a page for all the content to appear on the left sidebar - when I click on a page (like the homepage) the content disappears again.
This is a huge issue as we intend to use the space for our customers Help Center.
@Catherine Whitley You may not have noticed this part at the bottom of this page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/set-up-your-space-homepage/ where it says:
Because the Pages section of the space sidebar displays children of the space overview, it may not display the same pages that it did before.
I believe it would be better if the instructions for setting the Overview page told you to move it to be the parent of all the other pages before you make it the overview.
See the section on creating an inclusions library on this page (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/use-confluence-for-technical-documentation/#Create-an-inclusions-library--optional-) for an example of why you might want to create pages above the Overview page.
Did that, even set the overview as the home page. They still vanished. Additionally, we're looking to use this space for our customers to access, if I child all my pages under 1 overview parent, that won't work.
To clarify, I do have parent and child pages, and I have a Home page that's meant to act like a landing page. Nothing appears.
