Why different UI on one of our spaces in Confluence?

SeanM February 19, 2014

I looked further and found the "Space Tools". Still haven't found which (if any) setting is controlling the basic appearance of the pages.

But there is a basic difference. All of our spaces HAVE a "Space tools" control in the lower left corner, and clicking it brings up a nice Space Tools interface. BUt one space, "HEAT", does NOT have a "Space Tools" control. When I enter the appropriate URL directly I do get controls, but with a very different interface, and not all the same controls.

Not the two pictures below. Everything outside the green rectangle is different. What setting is different for the HEAT space that makes it display differently than all the other spaces we have?

Does NOT have Space Tools control or interface:

You are using the Documentation theme in one spaceand the Default theme in the other. That is why they look different.
