I've got a massive list of paragraphs that I want to re-use. They are currently all set up as a long list each with a heading to show what each is for, and a display version of the excerpt code label.
I want to organise these into a table, because it will be much easier to view on screen. But you cannot create or move an excerpt within a table.
I know you can use "excerpt include" within a table, BUT I want the originals of each to be listed in a much clearer way, and currently you can't do this. It's extremely frustrating to be unable to format our pages in an accessible way.
Is there any way around this? Or am I stuck with a page which scrolls (almost) forever?
Nested macros aren't available yet in the new editor in Confluence Cloud, so I'm afraid you're stuck.
You can follow and for for the following issue: CONFCLOUD-68323
So you can put an excerpt within an excerpt... but you can't put an excerpt in a table?
I know which one I would find more useful. Oh well.

Also nothing comes to my mind besides native Confluence layouts - they will help to structure your long pages.
