I am admin of a space with all the permissions. However when a comment is added, I can only delete the replies and not the original comment. The only option I see is to resolve or edit the comment. How does one delete the first comment? (Interestingly in my personal space the comment gives me an option to delete it once all replies are deleted.)
Please see the two screenshots below. The initial comment doesn't have option to delete. As a possible workaround, I tried to edit the comment to remove the content, but it doesn't allow me to save an empty comment.
Hi @Abhay Patil , thanks for your question.
Please see this other post https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/How-do-I-delete-comments-that-have-been-resolved/qaq-p/714562
If you delete the reply to the inline comment, it seems you should be able to delete the original inline comment.
I hope this helps you.
Best wishes
Thanks for the response @Valerie Knapp but that thread eventually concludes that one cannot delete an inline comment! This is very strange. (BTW I could delete a comment in my personal space, but not in another space that I created.)
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
