Which plugin contains macro?

Steven Cogorno

Hello,

Is there a way to "search" the plugins to find out which plugin contains a specific macro? It would be really helpful to know which macros are in which plugins (and vice versa) so that we can plan for decommisioning plugins if they are no longer needed.

Thanks!

Hi Steven,

if your looking out for the jars for macro you have to go to confluence source you can find the atlassian-budled-plugins zip file.

you can extract and see it contains lots of plugins.

you can refer the confluence-advance-macros-2.0.43 jar which contains majority of macros.

regards,

Hi Steven,

You can either refer to the Confluence Admin > Plugins and check out the modules for each plugin, or you can look it up on https://marketplace.atlassian.com, search for the plugin there and you shall find this info.

Hope it helps.
