I am using Confluence to create documents. When I create a document and try to export it, some attached images do not load. This has happened a few times, and previously, re-exporting the document would solve the issue. However, now that solution no longer works, and most of the images are still not loading.
How can we fix this?
Hello @Piyum Alwis I have exactly the same problem.
Have you tried Scroll PDF Exporter by K15t?
Did this add-on help you to solve the problem?
Hi @Piyum Alwis and welcome to the Community.
When you say export... do you mean export a page to Word/PDF, exporting a space, etc.?
Do you use any app for export and/or to handle images?
Are the images actually attached to page (listed in the Attachments view for a specific page).
Are the page a part of reused content (via include page, excerpt etc.)
Can you identify any common denominator for the images that do not appear in the export?

Thank you for your support! Let me address the questions that you asked,
1. Export Method - I am exporting a page to a PDF
2. Apps for Export/Images - No, I am not using any additional apps for export or to handle images. I am using the native Confluence export functionality.
3. Image Attachments - Yes, the images are properly attached to the page and appear listed in the Attachments view.
4. Reused Content - The page does not include reused content such as "Include Page" macros or "Excerpt Include."
5. Common Issue for Missing Images - I haven’t been able to identify a specific commonality among the images that fail to appear in the export. However, it seems to happen more frequently at the end of the document.

OK, so there are two ways to export a document (providing document = page).
What I'm trying to determine if you'd get the same result (missing images) with two different starting points.
There might a broader issue with exports (I saw posts reporting issues although I think they had in common things breaking up in customized CSS. Either way, it'd be indicative of an update/bug that broke things.
I can recommend an app (it will cost $5 a month on the Free tier) - it's called Scroll PDF Exporter by K15t and generally produces superior results. It's also fully customizable. You can at least give it a try (for free) - at the very least you'd find out if the issue is with Confluence or your content.
(I'm not affiliated with the vendor).
