I am migrating multiple spaces into another Atlassian instance through the space import. I know page links within the same space will be updated but what about page links to other spaces?
If I import space X and space Y will any links within space Y to space X be updated? Or will they still link to the old Atlassian instance?
If they do still link to the old Atlassian instance, any recommendations on the best way to identify these links for manual update?
Hello @Steph Sjostrom ,
The links are updated if they are of COnfluence format, so the system knows it is not just href link to some place but to some entity of Confluence (this space or any other). Such links are of ac:link format in Storage.
Confluence link format
<ac:link ac:card-appearance="inline"><ri:page ri:space-key="DEMO" ri:content-title="Demo Page " ri:version-at-save="1" /><ac:link-body>Demo Page 1</ac:link-body></ac:link>
Any other link to the same Confluence or any external Internet source is pasted like a:href:
<a href="https://x.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEMO/pages/111">https://x.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEMO/pages/11</a>
Such links do not get updated.
