What is needed to migrate license from evaluation instance to production instance.

Our license was installed on the server running the evaluation copy.  Per the documentation, after the evaluation has expired we are required to migrate to a production database/new instance.  If the license has already been applied to our evaluation instance, what do we need to do in order to migrate it to our production instance?

You paste the new licence in.  Atlassian tend to expect you to continue with the trial installation, not create a new instance.  But if you've got a separate production, paste the licence key into it, and remove the one on the old system.
