What happens to a user's personal space when the user is deleted from Confluence

According documentation in below link, when a user is deleted, the personal space is not deleted and will be accessible to system administrators or members of confluence-administrators only. Is this the case when the user that got deleted in managed in Confluence internal directory only but not applicable when user is managed by LDAP?

However the below KB link mentions that the deleted user's personal space will be inaccessible, even to system administrators or members of confluence-administrators.

The information in the above links seem to be conflicting.

Is the KB article specific to user being deleted in LDAP directory only??

Hi Sunita_Patro__Bob_Swift_Atlassian_Apps_,

We had similar case. User that wrote a page, doesnt work anymore in our company, but his page/s are still in confluence and we can edit, comment, etc. them without any restrictions.

I'v just checked those page/s. ;)

I exercised it in my local instance and i found the personal space is accessible to system administrator. 

Does that mean that whatever mentioned in the KB is applicable when user is managed in LDAP external directory?

Hi again,

I'm really not sure about personal space/s. 

Possible solution:
You can create dummy user, space, etc. and see what will happend when you delete that user.
