This is an old issue which should have been resolved by now.
I am a watcher of https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/confluence-release-notes-327.html but for some reason I am not getting an email each time the page is updated.
At the same time, I am getting email for JIRA Software release notes - Atlassian Documentation.
How to start getting update emails for each new version of Confluence?
Thanks for coming to Community with your question in regards to watching release notes articles. The watch feature within Confluence does allow you to receive updates, but sometimes there are issues which may cause these updates to not make it through. One of these issues can be caused by cookies being cleared from the browser prior to the “watch” button is clicked. This will cause the watch to not recognize the user and present you from getting the content updates you seek. There are steps to remedy this.
Please ensure you are logged in to id.atlassian.com. Once confirmed logged in, navigate back to the release notes page and unselect watch (if selected) and then reselect watch. This should allow your user info to be passed through to Confluence, thus recording your user information.
I hope this information proves helpful and you’re able to start getting content updates again soon!
