I have a COO reporting that Confluence Questions is not showing always showing the Votes on the summary page. ("Even though I have voted (positively) on answers to questions on the XXXXXX Procedures and Guidelines wiki space, the number of votes is not showing up on the summary page") Does this sound at all familiar to any of you? I know very little about how Questions really works in Confluence.
Greg, I believe what you are describing is that the summary page shows upvotes to questions, not answers. Please advise if you can confirm. Personally I think it should show upvotes to answers, and I think you are suggesting that was your assumption as well.
Tom, you are correct, I did not realize that only the votes on the question were tallied. It does seem strange. Let me check with my COO on that and see if that is his understanding also. Thanks!

Greg, sounds good. At least in our company, people are more apt to upvote answers not questions, and those viewing a list of questions want to see those that have upvoted answers. Instead, we see a lot of 'zeroes', which is not optimal for a new application we are trying to get traction on. Depending upon what you hear from your COO, I'm persuaded to open a feature request with Atlassian on this (or upvote and watch an existing feature request on this if there is one, though I looked quickly this morning and didn't find one). By the way, I added the tag 'confluence-questions' to your question to perhaps get some more 'eyes' on this topic from others, including Atlassians. Perhaps others have insights as to why it was designed this way.
